Hathor
The Boardman children dressed as Red Indians (something they often did) on board the pleasure wherry Hathor.
Note Stuart has a broken arm which he got in a riding accident. The album contains a X-ray of his arm which is not included here as it is a bit gruesome.


Flooded marsh
The disasterous floods of August 1912 feature a lot in this album. Here we see the flooded marsh below South Field with How Hill House.

Woolstone
Walter Woolston, the gamekeeper. He lived at Mill House and looked after How Hill when the family were away. His duties seemed to include entertaining and educating the Boardman children. He was an expert on the Broads and marshes.
