Until the 1950s, the Coot Shoot was an annual event which took place at Whiteslea Lodge on Hickling Broad. The Boardman family were often there. These pictures are from Michael Boardman's Albums. Michael grouped his pictures by subject rather than by date (as with other Boardman albums) and was not given to adding many captions.
