Kitchener Family

George Herbert Kitchener was headmaster of Ludham School from 1924 to 1943. He took the job following the retirement of George Hayhurst (see hayhurst page). The Hayhurst and Kitchener families are related by marriage.
Joan Mary Hayhurst (the youngest daughter of George and Florence) married George Robert Laurie Kitchener, who was the first son of George Herbert and Agnes Kitchener.
