Remmonds Family

Elizabeth REMMONDS, baptised in Ludham on 6th December 1741) married James BALLS of Irstead at Ludham on 20th  October 1763. Elizabeth's parents were John REMMONDS and Elizabeth PRATT, Elizabeth Pratt was born at Ludham on 24th January 1703 and baptised on the 31st of that month. Both she and John Remmonds are buried at Ludham, Elizabeth on 9th April 1764 and John on 7th January 1790.
Their son John, baptised at Ludham 18th July 1731  is known to lie in the graveyard  Plot D9, he died 9th February 1819 and buried two days later on 11 February 1819.

In Plot D4 lies his youngest son,  James, baptised at Ludham 4 February 1781. James married Ann DOLBEN from Denbighshire and most of their 10 children were baptised in Great Yarmouth where James worked as a carpenter. James died in Great Yarmouth on 15 March 1862 but was buried at Ludham on 21 March that year.
