This 9.5mm cine film was taken by Ludham resident, Peter Thrower.

In it we see the Festival of Britain Fete held at the Village Hall in 1951. Also we see village life on The Street and a visit by the Queen Mother. Her Majesty was visiting her friend, the artist, Edward Seago.

Commentary by Mike Fuller names many of the village characters and brings the place to life.
